New patients coming into the Clinic for the first time to complete an application may do so any day of the EXCEPT Wednesday. Patients may come in Monday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Six (6) full time employees support the efforts of more than 500 volunteers - approximately 250 physicians, 100 nurses and 150 non-medical personnel.
Patients make a contribution of $20 at the time of each visit. New patients contribute $30 for their initial evaluation and treatment. Patients who do not qualify for care are offered a list of other local options. The Clinic is located on a countywide bus route to accommodate patient travel.
NHC offers:
A Medication Room which serves as a dispensary enabling all patients to leave with their medications. (NHC does not stock or dispense narcotics.) Medications come from three sources: samples from physicians offices, the Patient Assistance Programs (PAP) offered by pharmaceutical companies, and purchasing at a discounted bulk rate.
Twelve Specialty Clinics for complex medical conditions: Cardiology, Dental, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Gynecology, Hepatology, Lipids, Neurology, Pain Management, Rheumatology, Urology.
Patient Education and Research Projects that include: Diabetes Self Management, Colon Cancer Screening, Hepatitis C Treatment, Healthy Lifestyles, Breast Health*, and Social Services.
Basic laboratory services with the more complex procedures referred to DSI Laboratories. (DSI performs these tests at no charge to the Clinic or our patients.)
Radiology services are referred to NDIC, Anchor Health Centers, and American Radiology. They perform these studies at no charge to the Clinic or our patients.
Hospitalization at NCH Healthcare System and Physician Regional Medical Centers, including care by specialty physicians, is provided at no charge to the Clinic or our patients.

Our mission is to deliver quality medical and dental care to low-income, working but uninsured Collier County adults, using a professional volunteer staff and funded by private philanthropy.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
