At HSI, primary care services are available to all individuals, regardless of their financial or insurance status. We accept private insurance like Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid, Medicare, ALLKids, and others as well as offer a reduced sliding fee schedule based on a person's income and family size.
Our goal is to help you and the people you love most stay healthy or return to good health. Since our first health center in 1973, HSI had worked with other providers to extend services to patients who need specialized treatment. We look forward to serving as your medical home for medical care.
Primary health care is provided to persons eighteen years and older in the Adult Medicine suites. An internal medicine or family medicine physician and a nurse practitioner team work together to provide patients with a personal health care plan. Services include sick visits, health maintenance and routine physicals.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Clanton Family Health Center website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.

All the staff has always been so friendly and caring. The NP answers any questions I may have and fully explains everything. I am also in a wheelchair and they help me in and out of the building. I so appreciate everyone! Thanks!
