Mission: To operate a professional independent Free Clinic, organized and staffed by volunteers, providing free non-emergency medical and dental services to uninsured and under-insured patients, and helping patients obtain insurance coverage to allow transition into medical homes.

We specialize in free non-emergent dental care for the low-income, uninsured population.

Providing Non-emergent Dental Services
The Barry Community Free Clinic serves uninsured adults (ages 18 and older) who have an income of less than twice the poverty guidelines as defined by the most recent federal data available at HHS. Services include dental evaluation and treatment, as well as financial assistance with unpaid medical bills.

For a referral to a Free Clinic dentist, call the Barry County United Way at 269-945-4010 and ask about dental referrals.  Patients must be without dental insurance, and have an income of 200% of the federal poverty limit or less.
To request a release of medical records from the Free Clinic medical clinic (from 2008 - 2014), call Data Guardian at 877-739-5913 between the hours of 8:30 and 5, Monday through Friday.  Records will be released only with written consent and only to a designated medical provider.  There is a $25 charge for records release.
