The Blue Ridge Free Dental Clinic delivers high-quality dental care to people who cannot otherwise afford these critically needed services.
Serving patients living in Jackson, Macon, Swain and Transylvania Counties. When you arrive for your first appointment at the Clinic, you will be asked to provide proof of residency, such as a driver's license or vehicle registration. Patients are required to show documentation of income. You must provide proof of total household income, preferably a current tax return, in order to be treated. Other examples of proof of income include Form 1099s, paycheck stubs, and disability forms. When you call the Clinic for the first time, they will help you determine whether or not you fall within the income guidelines.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
