In 1971, they were born from a movement to create social change to improve the health of underserved communities. This tradition continues to burn brightly in La Clinica's Community Health Education (Casa CHE) section, where the programs provide people the tools to actively participate in and take responsibility for their own education, while promoting the idea that the community is capable of creating positive social change.
Services provided at this facility include the following: Adult Community Education, Community Health Education + HIV/AIDS Education, and Youth Community Education.
You will find that this facility's fees are comparable to other medical offices in the area and are significantly lower than those charged by hospital emergency rooms. If you qualify for a sliding fee scale, it will apply to a variety of services at this facility.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Community Health Education website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
