COMO California Open Medical Outreach, formerly Cottage Oaks Medical Outreach, was established in 1995 as a mobile medical missions ministry, providing free medical care to the uninsured of California's Central Valley.

10 outreaches per month are offered in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties with expansion of current sites and services underway.

All medical care and medications are provided for FREE, by a volunteer staff of Doctors, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and other medical and non-medical personnel.

The only qualification to receive care is that the patients must be uninsured.

All of COMO's outreaches are collaborative efforts with other existing community based programs that reach the target population.

These programs include feeding programs, homeless shelters, food distribution and other community service projects.
