The Phoenix House Driver Intervention Program

This is one of Connecticut’s most cost-effective and comprehensive initiatives for individuals convicted of driving under the influence (DUI). There are three phases involved; a residential session over one weekend, eight consecutive weekly sessions and four follow-up sessions over the course of a year.  There are licensed counselors that establish a safe and nonjudgmental environment for small group discussions in which up to twenty participants explore their substance abuse and related hazardous behaviors. You receive a certificate of completion is provided when all program requirements have been met.
