Our mission is to provide free medical and dental services to the medically uninsured residents of St. Johns County. Our clinics provide care for individuals regardless of race, gender, creed, political stance or religion.
Patients who receive services at the medical, dental, and Pap clinics must meet the following criteria: be a resident of St. Johns County (YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF OF RESIDENCY), have no medical or dental insurance, must be ineligible for Medicare or Medicaid (except for dental clinic), and monthly income must fall below 200% of the federal poverty level guidelines. Volunteers staff our phones on most Tuesdays from 9am to 12 noon and Thursdays from 9am to 12 noon to answer questions, provide information, and to financially qualify new patients. Due to the extreme volume of calls, please DO NOT leave a message on our voicemail for an appointment. Messages should only be left if you are currently scheduled for an appointment & need to cancel/reschedule.

Dental Clinic
Offers walk-in medical services, first come, first served, but not emergency care. For emergencies, call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room or critical care facility. This clinic is open most Thursdays at 5pm and most Saturdays at 8am.
Offers free pap smears and general information on women's health issues to qualifying women. Two evening clinics monthly, by appointment after a referral from the Medical Clinic.
Walk-In Clinics change weekly (no appointment needed), first come, first served. We offer two SEPARATE clinics, one for extractions & exams, and one for fillings:
Dental Hygiene Clinic
Offers dental cleanings and dental health education. Patients must be seen by the Dentist for an initial exam prior to seeing the Hygienist, and also must have any acute or chronic problems addressed before a cleaning. This clinic is by appointment only.
Healthy Lifestyles Clinic
Offers free health screening and education; blood pressure and blood sugar checks; free pregnancy testing; and referrals. This clinic is open most Tuesdays, 9am - 12 noon

Services We Provide:
EXTRACTION/EXAM CLINICS are most Wednesdays mornings, but the schedule varies & they are often other days during the week. Typically, between 10-15 patients can be seen. Some patients arrive more than three hours before the walk-in clinic starts. To check the dates and times for this clinic, please call 829-1962 and listen to our dental voicemail or check the home page of this website. The voicemail and website are updated late on Sunday for the following week.
To be eligible for the FILLING CLINIC, patients must
1) have any needed extractions completed first and
2) have had a complete series of X-Rays & exam (may be in conjunction with a cleaning). Check the dental voicemail or check the home page of this website for current filling clinic schedule.
Initial screenings at the Wildflower Clinic via Vision is Priceless. To sign up, call or stop by the clinic. Patients that sign up will be called with date & time of next screening. A referral from the medical clinic is not necessary.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
