STD Clinic
The Florida Department of Health in Monroe County runs four clinics, serving populations in the Lower, Middle and Upper Keys: Roosevelt Sands Center (Key West), HealthCareCenter (Key West), Ruth Ivins Center (Marathon) and Roth Building (Tavernier). Routine clinical services and programs include, but are not limited to: immunizations, WIC, Healthy Start, family planning and HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention. Primary care services are limited. Insurance and Medicaid are accepted; for those without insurance or Medicaid, charges are determined based on income.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
