Lake Wales Free Clinic is located at the corner of Dr J A Wiltshire Avenue and Scenic Highway in Lake Wales.
Monday evening: Sign in 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Thursday evening: Sign in 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Dermatology Clinic: Third Thursday of the month, 4:30 PM, in conjunction with primary health care.
All services are FREE to those who qualify. Services are provided by local professional volunteers who are committing their time to help those in need. There may be a separate expense at a local pharmacy for prescribed medications. Providers do their best to prescribe the least expensive medications.
Qualified individuals can receive care for chronic conditions, providing them access to interventions that may provide relief from problems associated with their condition. Interested individuals can drop in during our open hours, or call our Clinic Administrator, Kate McDonald, for more information.

Lake Wales Free Clinic is a quality provider of charitable health care to those individuals who have no insurance and/or meet income eligibility requirements.
Services Provided
Acute and chronic care of adult patients
Referrals for specialty care
Blood STD testing
Smoking cessation classes
Diabetes education classes
Qualifications
Individuals must have no insurance, including government programs (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, etc.)
Income must not exceed 200% of FIPL (Federal Income Poverty Level)
Individuals must reside in Polk County
New patients must bring photo identification

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
