As a Community Health Center we are able to give many services to our patients. Our services include:
Help preventing health problems for all ages
Shots (immunizations) for children and adults
Flu shots
Women's health tests and care
Cholesterol, blood pressure, and diabetes tests
Help managing diabetes, high blood pressure, etc.
Same day appointments / Next day appointments
Urgent care for high fevers, cuts, broken bones, and other minor problems

Health West can give you a discount on the cost of your care. How much you pay depends on your income and family size. Patients with insurance may also be able to get a discount. You need to bring in proof of your in-come each year. There is a small fee for an office visit and an additional fee for procedures. Please call your local Health West about how you get a discount on your fees.
At Health West, we work to make your care affordable. Health West accepts most insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and you can pay for yourself. We will see anyone who needs care, even if they have very little money. We will work with you to make your care affordable.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
