Sliding Scale Clinic. Not Free. Sliding Scale must qualify.
The mission of the SWLA Center for Health Services is to improve access and quality to comprehensive health services, including primary and preventative health services for the uninsured, underinsured, and poverty-stricken populations within the target service area.
At Southwest Louisiana Center for Health Services every effort is taken to assure that fees for services are among the lowest in the community. However, services are not free.
They also welcome Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and self-pay patients.
Sliding Fee is a special program at SWLA Center for Health Services (SWLA) to assist those who are uninsured or have difficulty paying for medical care. Depending on your income and family size, sliding fee scale decides how much you and your family will pay for medical services. Please note that not all procedures may qualify for sliding fee discount.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Swla Center For Health Service website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
