Health Quarters is dedicated to meeting the reproductive health needs of all women, men and teens in our Northeastern Massachusetts service area.
For more than 35 years they have offered high quality, confidential and affordable medical services to low-income, underinsured and uninsured clients. They do not deny access to services based on an individual's ability to pay.
Sliding scale fees are variable prices for products, services, or taxes based on a customer's ability to pay. Such fees are thereby reduced for those who have lower incomes, or alternatively, less money to spare after their personal expenses, regardless of income.

Mission Statement
Health Quarters is focused on the whole human being. We believe in advocating for sexuality as a natural, normal and healthy human condition that is to be respected and discussed openly. All people have the right to accurate information and services to make responsible, positive sexual health decisions. We strive to be a partner in the empowerment of those who want to be proactive about their sexuality and health.
Health Quarters is an innovative partner in supporting, protecting and promoting the sexual and reproductive health and well-being of our clients. We provide integrated clinical, education and advocacy services that encompass the physical, emotional, social and cultural aspects of health as we work to eradicate disparities and inequities for all.
We envision communities where sexual health and well-being are valued as an integral part of life; where social justice, equality and access to information, education and health care are assured; where every relationship is respectful and free of coercion and every pregnancy is intended.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
