Free to those without access to basic health care.
Located on the east side of Ozarks Medical Center on the second floor.
Patient registration: Come by the West Plains Christian Clinic (east side Ozarks Medical Center) Tuesdays & Thursdays between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 AM and a Clinic volunteer will help you begin the process of registering for Clinic services. Please allow 45 minutes.
The Clinic is open to see pre-registered patients the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of every month 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm Triage starts at 3:00 pm.
The Clinic is completely staffed by volunteers with one grant funded director's position. With this in mind, not all of the above services may be available at all times. Patients are encouraged to call in advance to determine which services are available during a specific clinic session.
They do not make appointments. Persons are seen based upon their medical need.
Unfortunately, due to the limited number of volunteers and available resources, we cannot guarantee that all persons requesting service during a clinic session will be seen.
Mission Statement
The West Plains Christian Clinic seeks to improve the quality of life of the medically uninsured people in the West Plains Community by providing no cost general medical care, preventative medicine and health education, and by making available spiritual counseling to those who seek it. The West Plains Christian Clinic seeks to meet the needs of the medically uninsured without regard to race, religion, or creed of those who seek its services.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
