Carrboro Community Health Center was one of three centers that began Orange-Chatham Comprehensive Health Services Incorporated (OCCHS) in 1970. The OCCHS was formed to provide comprehensive health services and education to all segments of the community, with special emphasis on the segment of the population receiving inadequate health care or whose access to services were restricted.
