Walk-ins for physicals will only be accepted at 5 PM at our new location.
We are excited to announce that as of January 17th, 2018, we have re-opened the Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic at Towne Garden Pediatrics, which is located at 461 William Street. Our new walk-ins procedure for work and school physicals takes place at 5 PM only, and arriving earlier than 5 PM will not guarantee a spot. Patient order will be determined randomly on site at 5 PM and there will be a limited waitlist in order to reduce wait times. If you have other non-emergent medical concerns (non-physicials), please see below for our regular procedures for being seen by our volunteer medical staff.
The Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic is a student-run, free medical clinic whose mission is to provide care to the under- and uninsured in Buffalo, NY. This mission is made possible by our volunteer team, which consists of medical students from the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine, professional students from a variety of backgrounds including dentistry, social work and nutrition, as well as our dedicated area physicians who oversee the care that is provided.
All our offered services are conducted under the direction of fully licensed physician volunteers. If you need a specific form filled out, please bring it with you.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
