FREE MAMMOGRAMS AND FREE CERVICAL EXAMS TO UNINSURED WOMEN OVER THE AGE OF 40 AND FREE TAKE HOME COLORECTAL CANCER SCREENING FOR THOSE 50 AND OVER TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CANCER SCREENING PROGRAM AT NUMC
FREE mammograms and free cervical exams to UNINSURED women, over the age of 40, will be provided by the Cancer Screening Partnership. FREE take home test for colorectal cancer for women 50 and over and their partners will be distributed. These services are offered at the Breast Imaging Center at NUMC, 2201 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow.
Appointments are necessary. Only a form of identification with photograph is necessary. Please call 516-572-3300 for appointment and exact location of screening exams.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
