Virginia Garcia is a patient-centered primary care home. Which means their providers and staff provide a full range of services to treat the whole person, and not just the symptoms surfacing today. They provide patients with timely access to care, partner with patients to manage their conditions, coordinate care across providers, and continuously improve the quality of care. At Virginia Garcia each patient is assigned to a provider team, giving them access to primary care, behavioral and mental health, pharmacy, dental and vision services. Through team care, providers get to know their patients and are better able to manage chronic conditions and improve health outcomes.
When you arrive for your appointment at Virginia Garcia, the front office staff will enroll you as a patient. Because they are federally funded, you may qualify for a sliding scale discount based on your household income. To determine your eligibility for discounted services or to enroll you with coverage through Cover Oregon (Medicaid or Private Insurance), you will be asked to verify your household income. No one will be refused care for inability to pay.
