Patient Eligibility
Patients must be a resident of Orange County as shown by: Driver's license, utility bill, or legal document.
P.O. Box addresses will not be accepted.
To receive medical care, patients cannot have health insurance of any kind, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Total family income may not exceed 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Documents must be presented showing income. These can include paycheck stubs for the last four weeks of employment, W-2, letter of determination from Social Security or Social Services stating all benefits, pension verification or unemployment verification
The Orange County Free Clinic stands on a belief that everyone should have access to health care services. The mission of the Clinic is to provide primary medical care and prescription assistance to residents of Orange County who do not have the resources to obtain basic health care.
Medical clinics are held on a walk-in basis on Tuesdays from 5-7pm. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
Our address is 13296-A James Madison Highway, Orange, Virginia 22960. ( We are located right off Route 15, behind Pizza Hut.)
OCFC exists because of dedicated volunteer doctors, nurses, and non-medical individuals who serve in a variety of ways. The free clinic is funded by donations and gifts from caring individuals and organizations.

For Households with more than 8 persons, add $4,480 for each additional person.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
