HIV testing
We offer free testing for HIV. The human immunodeficiency virus is transmitted from person to person through exchange of infected body fluids: blood, semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk. Ways people come in contact with the virus include sexual contact (penetrative anal, vaginal or oral), blood or blood products, needle sharing to inject drugs and breastfeeding.
If you are infected with the HIV virus, we can immediately get you the care you need right here at the AAO of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Our free testing:
Oral swab
Confidential and anonymous
Results in 20 minutes

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
