At The Clinic, provide comprehensive primary medical services to thepatients, including diagnosis, treatment, medications, laboratory tests, and follow-up care.
Provide all of the types of care that a busy, private, family physician's office would offer.
So that they can give each patient the time they need, all visits require an appointment.
If you are in the midst of a medical emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
As a primary health care provider, The Clinic sees an interesting mix of patients from all walks of life. Some have been downsized from their jobs and no longer have insurance, some are small business owners, students or immigrants without access to affordable insurance.
Frequently the patients earn too much to qualify for Medicaid and are too young for Medicare.
They are old and young, male and female.
When it comes to health care, many have to place it as a low priority since their budgets don't allow for it. Sometimes when they finally find The Clinic, their illness is so far advanced, they require specialty services which The Clinic also offers.
If not for The Clinic, many people would still go untreated and seek treatment in the emergency room without the ability to pay for these more expensive services.
The Clinic believe that every person deserves access to quality care, regardless of their ability to pay. It is only through the dedication of volunteers, and support from generous individuals and groups, that can continue to make this possible.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
