Their staff of Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants and support personnel give unconditional, routine dental care.
They specializes in providing routine, general dentistry, and have a state-of-the art dental facility where your family can receive quality dental care in a comfortable and clean environment. They believe regular dental visits provide an opportunity for the early diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of oral disease, and even if you have already lost teeth or have no teeth, you are still at risk for oral disease.
Visiting the dentist regularly is important: children beginning at 6 months and adults should visit the dentist at least one time every year. As well, individuals at high risk for oral health issues should be sure to make regular visits to the dentist.
Uninsured and underinsured patients are offered a sliding fee scale for determining a patient's cost for additional services; some patients may pay as little as $15 per visit.
Since this is a sliding fee scale clinic, we have provided the Federal Poverty Guidelines below. Visit the Community Health Center Of The Black Hills website listed above to see what the level is needed for free care.
Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2023
Persons In Family Household | Poverty Guideline Salary per year |
---|
1 | $14,580 |
2 | $19,720 |

*Alaska and Hawaii have different rates for HUD federal poverty guidelines.
These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income. When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
