They provide dental and mental/behavioral services to thousands of families in Uvalde and surrounding counties. Their Dental Center has one of the two advanced laser equipment in the state of Texas. This facility works with various entities throughout the community to ensure that special populations, such as children under the age of five, elderly and veterans, receive vital prevention and treatment services.
This clinic has a dedicated staff that is ready to provide quality health care services, regardless of one's ability to pay. This clinic accepts most private insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP. For individuals at this clinic who are not covered by health insurance, CDHI has a sliding fee scale based on the client's family income and family size. This clinic is in accordance with Federal regulations, and proof of income must be provided for the client to be eligible for reduced fees for services and prescription medications. This clinic charges a minimum $18 for medical services and $30 for dental services prior to treatment for those not covered by insurance. For additional charges, payment is due upon receipt of services at this clinic.
