DANGER must read before going here if you like your health. First my conditions to help you understand the lack of true health care I have received for approx. the last year (After my good health care provider left). I am 62, legally blind, have an artificial heart valve, a crooked heart, only one lung that now has cancer in it, leukemia, COPD, arthritis and sleeping problems. I was having serious breathing problems whereas I couldn't walk 10 ft without my inhaler. I usually have to take the ART bus because I have no family here. My neighbor offered to take me but it had to be within the next 2 days because she was getting double knee surgery. The office couldn't “fit me in”, he also would not put in orders, knowing all of my health conditions for a chest x-ray. So I suffered for 4 days and finally had to call 911 because my inhaler wasn't helping anymore. My stay at the hospital was 3 days, for pneumonia and a cracked rib from coughing. The hospital called Jeremy and told him all of the neutralizer meds to put me on and antibiotics. I ran out of antibiotics, called to get them refilled and he was out on a 911 family emergency. His “assistant” when I asked who was taking over for him she didn't understand the question. WHAT? So I had to take the bus, still sick and saw the Dr. What a mistake that was. Talk about dominating because of your education! She took me off of my arthritis meds that the previous PA had put me on with no substitution, withdraws for 4 days! Went back and saw her again needing referrals (which I have been waiting on and many calls) and she REFUSED to refill my sleeping pills (which I have been taking for over 7 years). J returned and I saw him. He walks into the room, sits down and in the most sarcastic words says to me “What can I do for you today” I told him that I live way out in the woods and needed oxygen to be able to cut my grass (My husband has passed away recently) Instead of him wanting to help he says “cant anyone else cut your grass?” WHAT? So I went through the process of ins, in network and speaking with the oxygen company. They said I needed to do a 6 minute walk with the Dr. and has to be a certain level. Well when I asked if I could do it outside because that's where I needed it, I was told no. So we took a 3 minute not 6 around the short hallways. My diagnosis from Jeremy was that I was out of shape. I am 5’8” 148lbs REALLY? I was to walk, sleep well and eat good. Then he cuts my sleeping pills in half with no discussion to me, the patient before doing so. I had to find this out through the pharmacy. The supervisor of everyone is an LPN! Megan. The front office puts you on hold for anywhere between 5-10 minutes, if they answer the phone at all. I was trying to schedule another appointment and the lady at the window was busy on the phone with a patient, the other girl was sitting there texting on her phone and had to be told to wait on me. I am running and never looking back. This letter along with more details has already been sent to the Texas Medical Board.
