The Doctors' Volunteer Clinic is a non-profit, non-government healthcare organization that provides access to affordable healthcare services for the uninsured, underinsured and low-income in Southern Utah by acting as a safety net of services that include primary medical care, mental health services, and dental care. The Doctors' Volunteer Clinic of St. George operates on private grants and donations, and suggest a $10 donation per patient per visit, if possible.
Eligibility requirements:
No health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare.
Monthly income for household must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
Provide free Medical Care to Indigents.
Non-urgent and semi-urgent medical care, mental health services, dental services, women's clinic, and several specialty clinics.
They accept limited walk-ins on an emergency basis from
9:00am - 11:00 and 1:00 to 2:30pm
Medication refills, physicals, and lab work are not considered emergencies.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
