Volunteers In Medicine Gautier, a non profit organization, is part of a national alliance of free clinics working throughout the country for the working uninsured.
To be eligible for Clinic services, patients must have no health insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid) and have family income within 200% of the federal poverty guidelines.
Walk-ins are seen in order of signing in.
VIMG has a limited number of prescription drugs available on-site.

The Volunteers in Medicine Gautier Medical Clinic was established to provide free medical services to uninsured individuals and families, who would otherwise be unable to afford them. The Clinic is made possible by the generous commitment of nearly 100 lay and professional volunteers who contribute their time and skills to help others. We are partnered with Singing River Health System and Abundant Life Christian Center in order to best meet the physical and spiritual needs of our patients.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesday, Wednesday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Friday 12 - 4 p.m.
If you, or someone you know, cannot get health insurance, or does not presently have health insurance, please contact our office to see if we might be of assistance. We offer a broad range of health and medical services for the uninsured in our area. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
