The Lake Area Free Clinic welcomes individuals and families who lack health insurance and whose income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level*. Clinic clients receive the medical attention and practical information they need to maintain their health in a friendly and caring atmosphere.
The free clinic also serves as a valuable Waukesha County resource in helping to locate follow-up services.
The Lake Area Free Clinic continues to provide all of these services with a caring volunteer staff.
Due to the generosity of these individuals and the community, they have been able to help meet the basic health care needs of thousands in the Lake Country Area in Waukesha County Wisconsin.
Clinic hours:
Tuesdays: 5pm - 8pm. Thursdays 5pm - 8pm.
Services provided:
* Preventive medical exams for adults.
* Medical treatment for acute and chronic illness for adults and children.
* Access to laboratory and radiology services.
* Referral to local physicians for follow-up care and specialty services.

In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
