Sliding Fee Discount Program
Family Medical Care offers patients a sliding fee discount program that includes discounted services regardless of any patient's ability to pay. The program is based upon Federal guidelines and takes into account all persons living in the household and household income. Insurance & Payments
Family Medical Care and Family Care Pharmacy accept most insurance plans.
We accept cash, check or credit card for payment, and offer payment plans for patients that cannot afford to pay their full medical bill upfront. Various payment plans are available through the Billing Office. Call 304-797-1210 for more information on Payment Plan options.

Family Medical Care Community Health Center offers a full range of health care services to the entire community, regardless of age, income level, insurance status or residence. We accept patients with Medicare, Medicaid, and Third-Party Insurances, and provide a discount scale for our uninsured and low-income patients. Through Family Medical Care's discount fee scale, which is based on income level and family size, a qualified individual can receive quality medical care for as little as $25 an appointment.

These numbers above represent 100% of the Federal Poverty Rate. In order to get reduced or free services from some clinics, they use a sliding fee scale based on your income.When they use a sliding fee scale, the 100% rate can be different than 100%. In those cases, using for example a 200% federal poverty level, you will only need double the 100% number listed above to 200%.
